Fresh particulars have surfaced concerning the untimely deaths of acclaimed director Rob Reiner and photographer Michele Singer Reiner, whose remains were discovered at their Los Angeles home property on Sunday.

The Initial Report

According to a report citing a confidential source, a massage therapist arriving for an session first raised the alarm after failing to get inside the residence. This individual then contacted the couple's daughter, Romy Reiner, who lives close by.

When she went into the house, Romy found her father's body. Reports state she then fled the house in anguish, unaware at that moment that her mother's body was there as well. Another individual who had gone with her then dialed 911. Subsequently, first responders found Michele Singer Reiner's body.

Criminal Proceedings

Law enforcement have formally accused the couple's 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, with the charges of murder in the first degree, including the alleged use of a deadly weapon, reportedly a knife. He is now in custody and denied bail.
