The City of Angels witnessed widespread celebrations after the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-match World Series championship. Fans worldwide united with local residents in celebration, marking the initial time in a quarter-century that a franchise has achieved consecutive championships.
Celebration Parade Attracts Enormous Crowds
Local celebrations featured a procession through the city center on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at the team's home stadium, and spontaneous parties throughout the city.
Social media videos depict countless of Los Angeles residents flooding city center avenues, many displaying homemade signs and team flags. The squad was seen riding high on a double-decker bus through the masses, hoisting the championship trophy high.
